Alexandria Shevonne Shine

March 29, 1990 — June 26, 2023

Alexandria S. Shine, affectionately known as Alex, was born on March 29th,1990 in Los Angeles, California, to Stanley C. Dill and Sharrone Dill. She was the youngest of three siblings.

From a young age, Alexandria embraced her faith in Jesus Christ and was baptized at Grace Community in Sun Valley, CA. She continued to live out her devotion and glorify the Lord by becoming a member of Grace Bible Fellowship Church in Las Vegas, NV.

Alexandria completed her early and high school education at Village Christian School in Cerritos, CA, graduating in the Class of 2008. Recognizing the value of a college education, she attended South West and San Diego College, ultimately fulfilling her dream in 2014 by graduating from Virginia University of Lynchburg with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Administration.

In November 2015, Alexandria's life took a profound turn during a night out with friends at Saddleback Ranch. It was there that she caught the eye of Fernando Shine, who saw not only her beauty but also her qualities as a supportive friend, ensuring everyone's safety and enjoyment. Their connection was immediate, and by March 2016, they became an official couple. In November 2017, Fernando knew he had made the right decision and asked for Alex's hand in marriage. On a warm and lovely day in June 2018, surrounded by their closest friends and family, Alex and Fernando publicly declared their unwavering love for each other before God.

On April 15, 2020, Alex and Fernando were blessed with the arrival of their firstborn son, Enzo Shine. Their family grew even more complete on February 9, 2022, with the birth of their second son, Landon Shine. Motherhood awakened Alex's creative talents as she lovingly documented every moment of her boys' lives. Her love for Enzo and Landon was evident throughout their home, from her photography to the thoughtful decoration of their bedrooms and the lesson plans she created. She also ensured that her children were introduced to the Lord.

Alexandria was a devoted wife and mother of two, with an unwavering love and devotion to her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, her family, her friends, and the sport of basketball.

As the sun set on Alexandria S. Shine's life on June 26th, 2023, and she was called home by God, she was surrounded by the love of her family.
