Anthony Davenport

Anthony Davenport was born on May 8, 1973 in Las Vegas, Nevada. He was the youngest of five children born to Clemmie L. (Turner) Parker and the late James “Jimmy” Davenport. Anthony accepted Christ at an early age and united with Victory Baptist Church under the leadership of the late Rev. AJ Thompson.

In 1991, Anthony graduated from Western High School in Las Vegas, Nevada. He soon obtained his Commercial Driver’s License and operated heavy equipment vehicles for Silver State. Anthony later ventured into various forms of entrepreneurship. His legacy of innovation and dedication, along with his strong work ethic inspired countless individuals. It also attributed to the success of several businesses. 

Anthony loved spending time with his family; especially, his children, grandchildren, nephew and mother. He enjoyed cooking and watching the Dallas Cowboys, his favorite football team.

Anthony was preceded in death by his father, James “Jimmy” Davenport and two brothers, John Davenport and Jerome Davenport. 

Anthony leaves to cherish his memories: mother Clemmie L. (Turner) Parker; brother James Davenport; sister Cynthia Davenport Taylor (Otis Taylor); daughters Shavante Trimble, Jenifer Sweat- Davenport, Relexia Joiner, Charisa Joiner, Jasney Robertson, N’Sya Davenport, and Raina Davenport; sons Anthony Trimble and Alex Trimble; thirteen grandchildren Amaria, AppleMarie, SummerAnn, Kimari, Za'Marion, Messiah, MyElle, Amina, Damel, Barry, Sajae, Anthony Jr., and Kelis; and his special friend La’ Stina Williams. He will also be missed by a host of very special nieces, nephews, cousins, family, and friends who loved his funny sense of humor.

Anthony was a beloved son, father, uncle, cousin, brother and friend. He was loved by many and was an amazing man that was full of love and life.
