Barbara Ann MacKellar

     It is with great sorrow and much love that we mourn the passing of Barbara A MacKellar

76, of Henderson, Nevada. She passed away peacefully on January 21, 2025 at home,

surrounded by loved ones.

     Barbara was born in Buffalo, New York and is survived by her loving husband, John

MacKellar, her children Lisa DeCarlo, (spouse Stephanie Horrace), and April Troester,

(spouse Nicholas Troester), and her grandchildren, Audra Splawn, Damien Messner,

Kate Troester, and Veronica Troester.

     Barbara had a wonderful life and was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and friend.

She was amazingly artistic with many different mediums; creating beauty was one her

many talents. Barbara was full of love, laughter and resilience. She touched the lives of

all who knew her.

     The family would like to thank AMG Hospice of Las Vegas for their compassionate care

during Barbara’s final months. In lieu of flowers the family would appreciate a donation
