Bobbie Jo Simon-Glover was born on December 10th , 1941, in Texarkana, Texas to the loving parents A. D. Simon and Evelene Thornton who both preceded her in death. Bobbie was raised in a Christian home, and accepted Christ at a young age.

Bobbie was raised in Texarkana, Texas until moving to Las Vegas, Nevada in 1958. Upon moving to Las Vegas, Nevada she joined True Love Missionary Baptist Church. She later moved to Seattle Washington in 1966, where she worked as a Keypunch Operator and retail cashier. Bobbie was a loving, devoted, and supportive daughter, wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.  She returned to Las Vegas, Nevada in 1981. And upon her returning back to Las Vegas she joined Great Commission Interdenominational Church under the leadership of Bishop S. C. Hooks. She met and married L. C. Glover who preceded her in death in 2001. Also, preceded her in death one grandson James Monroe. Bobbie later joined Abundant Heart Community Church under the leadership of Pastor Donald L. McCoy.

Bobbie was a caring, compassionate, kind and selfless individual. She was a humble spirit which enabled her to communicate and work well with people of all walks of life. Bobbie Jo Simon-Glover, at Eighty-One years old peacefully gained her wings on September 3rd , 2023. She leaves to cherish her memories: four daughters Shirley Banks of Las Vegas, NV; Cindy Wilson, Linda Davis, and Stephane Brakes all of Washington, State. Four grandchildren Ashlee Banks, Deonte Banks, Nikiesha Wilson and Eddie Cotton (Vicky). Ten great-grandchildren and one god-daughter Sharetha Williams-Green (James) of Las Vegas, NV. She is also, survived by her longtime companion Oscar Love; and a host of relatives and friends.
