Chester Augusta Perry was born on March 6, 1928, at 9 a.m. in Velasco, Texas. He was raised by his grandparents where he worked on their farm.
He also joined the Army to serve his country. He fought in two wars. After the military he started working for the City of Los Angeles sewer and maintenance as a supervisor. He retired from the City of Los Angeles to enjoy life and to spend more time with his family.
Chester enjoyed dancing, telling stories about his childhood, watching Western movies, joking, laughing, fishing, and cars especially Corvettes. He also loved his family. He loved being a father, husband, and a grandpa. Daddy you will forever be missed.
Chester leaves behind his wife Sara; children Kristal, Yolanda, Patricia, Tinka and Anthony; along with many grandkids, great grandkids, and great-great grandkids.
Rest easy Daddy. We love you and miss you!
