Dario “Panda” Jimmerson Obituary
Dario “Panda” Jimmerson was born on July 15, 1986, in Las Vegas, Nevada, to the union of Lee Jimmerson Sr and Marilyn Jimmerson. He attended Jo Mackey Elementary, West Middle School, and later graduated from Cheyenne High School in 2004. After high school, Dario dedicated his time to serving his community, working for both the City of Las Vegas and the City of North Las Vegas. He also worked ten years at the Grand Lux Cafe located inside the Venetian Hotel. He found his true calling at Kindercare, where he worked with children—a job he loved the most.
Dario’s joy for life was contagious, and he was always the life of the party. His smile could light up any room, and his energy made everyone around him feel welcomed and uplifted. He loved to sing and dance, joining the step team in high school and later recording music with his two brothers under the name “The Truth.”
His passion for music started in middle school when Dr. Anthony Marentic introduced him to the clarinet, and that love for rhythm and expression stayed with him throughout his life. Dario also had a love for the outdoors and spent time fishing and cooking with his dad, moments he truly cherished.
His passion for sports extended beyond playing football—he had a deep commitment to coaching and mentoring young athletes, always eager to pass on his knowledge and inspire the next generation.
Dario is survived by his loving parents, Lee Jimmerson Sr. and Marilyn Jimmerson; his sister, Teri Stevens; and his brothers, Lee Jimmerson Jr. and Emmanuel Jimmerson. He leaves behind three nephews, Ja’ Vontay Hill, Devonn Jimmerson, and Amari Jimmerson, as well as two nieces, Mi’ Kayleah Green and Zyriah Taylor, all of Las Vegas. He is also survived by a host of cherished aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. Dario “Panda” Jimmerson will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing and loving him.
