Kirby Chante Warren

Kirby Chante Warren was born March 1, 1962 in Dallas, TX at Parkland Hospital at 11:41 am to parents Ida Myril and Eddie Roy Warren (deceased). Kirby is known as the cheek to cheek smiling baby, stealing the hearts of many. He grew up from being a child of mischief to a respected man with value. At an early age he was baptized at Second Baptist Church under the leadership of Rev. VCL Coleman. His childhood church involved being in the Choir, Sunday School, Vacation Bible School, and the Usher Board. While living in Seattle, WA as an adult, Kirby attended MT. Zion Church and served as Head of Trustee’s and an Usher. Kirby attended St. Christopher Catholic School, Brinley Jr. High School, Western High School, University of Pacific and University of Phoenix, graduating with a Master’s in Management. 

Kirby has been known as the World Famous Tour guide, Road trip king, Talker of business and exquisite advisor. Family gathering is a must even if it was a turnaround trip. Kirby was known to tag along after his big brother Michael during childhood years. He was a very inspirational, patient person, motivating others with a positive personality. Kirby was not judgmental and encouraged others to have a loving spirit. Some of his favorite childhood activities were riding motorcycles and driving the Dune Buggy with friends. After the death of mother Ida Myril Warren, Kirby took the role as guardian to his younger brother Yaphet Warren at the age of 14. He was a mentor to all his siblings, nephews and nieces being available anytime. Kirby grew up with many nicknames, Captain Crunch, Sunshine, Clyde (smooth and cool) and Like Walt Frazier. He was a star athlete in Baseball, Track, Basketball and Football. His popularity in football and school awarded a college scholarship to the University of Pacific.

Kirby was blessed to play Professional NFL Football with the New York Giants, LA Express and Calgary Stampeders. Kirby moved to Seattle, WA when he retired from football and explored a career as an Insurance Broker. He married Kanika Koy for 5 years and was blessed with one daughter Ariah Warren. Kirby took pride in his job and desired the best for his clients. He worked with First Mark Insurance until his strength left his body. His number one joy was his daughter Ariah. Kirby kept memorable things and spent quality time with Ariah. The best loving father imaginable.

Kirby leaves to survive daughter Ariah Warren (Edmonds WA), sister Vannay Johnson (Dallas TX), brother Michael Warren (Las Vegas NV), sister Antoinette Warren (Las Vegas NV), sister Enga Warren (Atlanta GA) and brother Yaphet and Lani Warren (Frisco TX). Parents Ida Myril and Eddie Roy Warren (deceased). Nephews Serandon Johnson (Dallas TX), Marcello Payne (Las Vegas NV) Nieces Shansi Payne-Keys (Las Vegas NV), Shasi Payne (Las Vegas, NV), Faraji Warren (Atlanta GA), Bakari Warren (Atlanta GA) Alexis Warren (Atlanta GA) Great Nephews and Nieces Maacah Payne-Smith, Jaylen Payne-Kelly, Brycen Keys, Khamia Saunders, Shaheed Saunders and Japan Williams. A host of uncles, aunts, cousins and friends.
