Makayla was born on September 29, 2001. She weighed 6 pounds 15 ounces with beautiful green eyes and super light brown hair with blonde highlights and was mostly raised in San Diego, CA.
As a child Makayla was loving, kind and beautiful with a dash of attitude. She was so full of life always playing dress up, putting on the high heels, wigs and make-up that belonged to her aunt Missy. She was always wanting to look good from the age of two and on. Learning to walk in heels as a toddler to advancing and stealing people's shoes at the beach. She was obsessed with people's shoes.
As Makayla got older, so did her wild soul. She flourished into a young beautiful, loving, and goofy woman whose laugh was contagious. Any person that met Makayla couldn’t help but have fun no matter the task including trips to the grocery store or just sitting at home watching tv. Makayla fit so many things into her short time from making lifelong friends, being a great sister and daughter, to graduating and finally becoming a wonderful young mother, after 5 days of labor, to her beautiful little “chicken girl” Amoura. Makayla graduated from Job Corps in 2020. She had just recently started college to become a nurse to make a better life and future for her and her daughter.
Makayla is survived by her 8-month-old daughter Amoura Adams; mother Monica Miner; father Donald Miner; siblings Ieesha, Antonio, and Angelina; and great grandfather Richard Tato, along with many other relatives and friends.
Makayla was amazing to say the least, she always encouraged people to be the best they could be, and we will forever cherish her and the most precious gift she left us who is a piece of her and already has so many of her traits that will live on forever. We love you Kayla Bear!
