Marie D’Amico, age 77, of Las Vegas, NV, passed away peacefully on March 8, 2025. Born in Pomona, NJ on August 3, 1947, Marie was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, cousin, friend and mentor. She was best known for her boundless kindness, positivity, and selfless nature.
Marie had a deep love for her family, cooking, chatting, and caring for others. Family always came first, whether it was “working” events for Uncle Tommie in Egg Harbor or preparing large home cooked meals for her family, she always created a special place for everyone that was close to her. Her selfless and generous nature made everyone around her feel valued and supported, and she found joy in making others' lives a little brighter.
Marie began her career as a kindergarten teacher at St. Paul’s, where her passion for children and early education shone through. Later, she transitioned into new home sales, where she earned numerous awards and became a top sales agent for several builders. Her natural ability to connect with people made her an outstanding professional who left a lasting impact in her field among clients and colleagues.
In 1994, Marie and her husband, Ralph, made the move from the Plainsboro, NJ area to Las Vegas. Together, they built a beautiful life, making many lifelong friends. Their “office” at the Skyline became like a second home to them, and Marie will be remembered fondly by all who crossed her path. In her later years, Marie enjoyed the simple yet treasured moments spent with her husband, Ralph. After a delicious home-cooked meal, they would relax together and watch their favorite shows, sharing quiet, comforting evenings reminiscing over the 37 years they spent together.
Marie was predeceased by her beloved husband, Ralph D’Amico; mother, Christine Dellanoce; and father, Antonio Dellanoce. She is survived by her son, Scott Gordon; daughter, Melissa D’Amico; son, Mark D’Amico (Gina Ingargiola); daughter, Lori D’Amico; grandchildren, Mia and Nicholas D’Amico; brother, Tony/Buddy (Dee) Dellanoce; sister, Debbie Dellanoce; as well as many cousins, nieces and nephews. Her cherished dogs, Rocky, Scrapper, and Coco, are also remembered with love, as they awaited her arrival in heaven.
A private celebration of life will be held in Las Vegas. In lieu of flowers, donations in Marie’s honor may be made to your local animal shelter. Marie’s memory will be cherished by all who knew her. Her bright spirit, unwavering kindness, and love will live on in the hearts of her family, friends, and all whose lives she touched.
