Sandra De Vee Fargas

Sandra DeVee (Oliphant) Fargas
October 5, 1942 – April 25, 2023

Sandra passed away on April 25 th , 2023, at her home in Summerlin, Nevada. Her
loving husband, Antonio, was at her side. Sandra’s eldest sister, Dorothy,
preceeded her on their journey a few hours prior, Dot was 101 years old.

Sandra was born in Yorkton, Saskatchewan, Canada to Carl and Emma Oliphant.
Sandra was the youngest of six siblings. While Sandra was still young, her parents
returned to the United States to raise their family. They settled in Alburnett, Iowa
where Carl continued to farm, and Emma raised the children.

Not long after graduating from Alburnett High School, Sandra moved to Los
Angeles, where she had two children, Kevin and Tiffany. Sandra worked a variety
of jobs to provide for her children. She found her calling when she started
working for Kaplan and Black, a real estate investment company. She later
worked for Black Equities when the company reorganized. After several decades
of loyal service, she finally retired and moved to Summerlin to enjoy life with her
soulmate, Antonio. They loved traveling and spending time with family and
friends. Sandra could always be found in her kitchen preparing feasts for groups
large and small. Sandra loved entertaining and cooking for others.

She is survived by her husband, Antonio; son Kevin and wife Geraldine; daughter
Tiffany; stepson Justin and wife Nikki; and 6 grandchildren Tracy, Kadijha,
Anthony, Justice, Cody and Ryder; and her beloved dog Chloe.
