Susan Almacin Cone

Susan Almacin Cone, age 55 was born on December 25, 1967, in Babatngon Leyte, Philippines, to the late Tomas and Marta Almacin. She passed away on December 12, 2023, in Las Vegas, Nevada.  Susan was the beloved wife of, Robert Cone with whom she shared 31 years of marriage.

Susan received her formal education in Angeles City, Central Luzon, Philippines. After marrying Robert in July 1991, she moved to Okinawa, Japan, where they resided before settling in Las Vegas. Susan was a kind and generous person who showed her love for her family, coworkers, and friends through her passion for cooking Filipino dishes for various events she also was a caregiver for infants and children while stationed with her husband in Okinawa Japan, Pensacola Florida, North Carolina and Las Vegas Nevada.

Susan had a fulfilling career as a Custodial Worker with the 99 Force Support Squadron, from September 2004 until her passing in December 2023. She was dedicated to her work and received several certificates of recognition for her outstanding performance. In her free time, Susan enjoyed reading, cooking, and crafting jewelry. These hobbies allowed her to express her creativity and bring joy to those around her.

Susan is survived by her loving husband, Robert Cone, her daughter Christina Bolster, and her cherished grandchildren Conner Sittner, Talon Hoffman, Gianna Ward, and Winnie Wright. She is also survived by her sister and brother-in-law, Nida and Tom Bohanon, her nephew Robert Jacobs, her mother and father-in-law, Inez and Loyce Cone, and her sister-law, Andrea Cone. Susan was preceded in death by her parents, Tomas and Marta Almacin. 

Susan Almacin Cone will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and all who knew her. May she rest in peace, knowing that she lived a life filled with love and kindness.
