Ulus Henry Jr.

Ulus Henry Jr. was born on December 14, 1943, to the late Birder Knox and Ulus
Henry Sr. To this union nine children were born. Ulus moved to Las Vegas at an early
age where he attended Las Vegas high school and pursued a career in trucking.
Ulus Henry worked at the test site as a truck driver. He also was a interstate truck driver
for over fifty years. Ulus passion was trucks and cars which he devoted his life to. Ulus
loved to travel and listen to the blues. He met and married the love of his life, Dorothy in
the year of 1998. Ulus and Dorothy shared an unbreakable bond. Ulus joined Unity
Baptist Church in the year of 2006 where he remind a member until his passing.
During his years of illness he had the greatest care team of nurses that cared for him
immensely. He remained courageous and gentle hearted. He made an impact on those
that knew him. He had the biggest heart and was always there to help anyone in need.
On April 1, 2023, he departed this earth peacefully at home surrounded by his nurses
and loved ones. Preceding him in death were his parents Birder and Ulus Sr., brothers:
Jesse, A.J, and Chester. Sisters: Johnetter and Carrie, daughter Michelle and Son
Samuel. Ulus leaves to cherish his memory: Wife (Dorothy), daughters: Ann, Elizabeth,
Christine (Vince) and Ladeja (Robert). Sons: Ulus Jr and Davin. Brothers: Eddie, Willie
T, and Roy. He leaves 16 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren, a host of nieces,
nephews, cousins,nurses, church family members and a close friend and neighbor Paul.
